Tommy Tang Lor, RD

Tommy Lor, RD, is a registered dietitian with Keck Medicine of USC. He provides individualized medical nutrition therapy and counseling for patients with a wide range of medical conditions. He works closely with patients to assess their nutritional needs and to develop realistic, sustainable care plans tailored to their unique goals and clinical status.

Lor’s approach to care centers on empathy, collaboration and meeting patients where they are. He empowers his patients with practical tools and knowledge to support their long-term health so that they can feel confident in making positive dietary choices that fit their lifestyle. His patients can also rely on him to stay up to date on the latest evidence-based nutrition guidelines and clinical developments which enable him to always provide the best care possible. 

Outside of work, Lor loves spending time in nature, including going on long hikes or spontaneous road trips. Traveling and exploring new cultures is one of his favorite ways to unwind, and he’s always excited to try new foods and experiences wherever he goes. He also enjoys relaxing with a good movie and savoring a great cup of coffee.
