Eric L. Kau, MD, is a board certified urologist specializing in the treatment of kidney stones. After completing his urology residency at New York University School of Medicine, which focused on advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. Most recently he developed a thriving practice in the San Gabriel Valley. Kau attended a combined program at Virginia Commonwealth University where he obtained his BA in History (summa cum laude with Honors) and his medical degree. Although he has expertise in treating complex kidney stone disease, he is proud and grateful that his extensive training with experts in the field of urology have given him a broad basis to treat all urologic conditions. In addition to English, he is able to communicate in Mandarin and Spanish, and each of his office staff members are multilingual and can speak languages such as Vietnamese, Cantonese and Spanish.
Kau has a deep connection to the area as many members of his family live in Arcadia and the surrounding communities. His goal as director for the USC Institute of Urology – Arcadia is to provide Arcadia and the San Gabriel Valley the highest level of urologic care that Keck Medicine of USC is known for nationally.
