Leading-edge Research to Advance PKD Care

Our doctors are at the forefront of research for new treatments and cures for PKD — at the USC/UKRO Kidney Research Center, multiple PKD-related research projects are ongoing at the pre-clinical, translational and clinical trial levels to explore new therapies and targets for autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD).

Reducing Your Treatment Side Effects

Our clinicians are trained in tolvaptan Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS), which is a special safety program that will have your blood work monitored by your nephrologist, to reduce your risk of liver injury.
