David Ian Quinn MBBS Honors Class I, PhD, FRACP is an international expert in the field of clinical trials and molecular correlative studies in genitourinary cancer. Dr. Quinn is the medical director of the Norris Cancer Hospital and Clinics, leader of the Developmental Therapeutics Program for the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, head of the Section of Genitourinary Medical Oncology and associate professor of Medicine in the Division of Cancer Medicine and Blood Diseases at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
He has recently published in the journals Cancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research, Oncogene, Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, Journal of the National Cancer Institute and Journal of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Quinn is a reviewer for more than 20 peer-reviewed journals and is on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Clinical Oncology and cancer.net (American Society of Clinical Oncology). He is a full member of the National Cancer Institute's Subcommittee H review panel for the North American Cooperative groups and has been an invited speaker in more than 30 countries.
Dr. Quinn's earlier positions included director of Clinical Training at St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney Australia, director of the Clinical Investigation Support Office and co-leader of the Genitourinary Cancer Program at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.
