Matt Fraire, MMS, PA-C is a Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine (Practitioner). He graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2012. He served as an EMT for both Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and later as an Emergency Room Technician at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital of Whittier. After witnessing the need for quality healthcare in underserved communities, he joined the Flying Samaritans Volunteer Medical Group to help provide aid to underserved communities in El Hongo, Mexico.
Matt graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Marshall B. Ketchum University in 2020 and received a Master’s in Medical Sciences. He completed a clinical training fellowship at Western University with an emphasis on primary care and patients who suffer from substance abuse. He is NCCPA board certified, and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
As a PA-C, Matt wishes to use his skills and knowledge of medicine to help provide quality healthcare and education to his patients. His goal is to provide compassion, empathy, and healthcare that focuses on patients and provides them the best for their health and well-being. Outside of work, he is passionate about movies and history, tasting savory foods at themed restaurants, and experiencing new adventures by traveling and hiking.
