Smitha Ravipudi, MPH, is chief executive officer of USC Care, Keck Medicine of USC’s network of physicians who provide outpatient services and procedures. She is also CEO of Keck Medicine’s ambulatory care services.

In these roles, she is responsible for health system operations in regional outpatient locations, (which span across Kern, Los Angeles and Orange Counties and Las Vegas), hospital-based clinics, Keck School of Medicine of USC department clinics and outpatient joint-venture partnerships and community practices.

Recognized as an innovator in the ambulatory care environment, she is dedicated to keeping patients at the forefront and finding new and better ways to work with physicians. She partners with clinical leadership to drive quality in the health system’s ambulatory locations, setting benchmarks and identifying key quality measures.

Ravipudi is the inaugural chair of Keck Medicine’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) steering committee, leading their initiatives to foster a more inclusive environment for patients and staff, including onboarding a chief diversity officer and establishing Keck Medicine’s DEI office.

Prior to joining Keck Medicine, she was vice president of access and ambulatory operations at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she oversaw outpatient clinics, community ambulatory care centers, preservice and access operations (inpatient and outpatient), patient relations and service excellence.

Ravipudi holds a master’s degree in public health from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in human communication sciences from Northwestern University.
